Hon. Gatoloaifaana Amataga Alesana Gidlow (MP) attended the 47^th Session of the ACP Parliamentary Assembly and the Inter-Sessional Meetings of the ACP-EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly that was held in Brussels, Belgium from 9 – 12 October 2017.  During the 47^th Session of the ACP Parliamentary Assembly, parliamentarians and representatives discussed the development challenges in ACP and EU policies; the opportunities and challenges for ACP states in the Blue economy; and, strategies to improving access to basic health systems, notably medicines in the fight against infectious diseases. These discussions will be adopted in the form of Resolutions at the 34^th Session of the Joint ACP-EU Parliamentary Session to be held in December 2017.
