To celebrate the 57^th Anniversary of the Independence of Samoa, two dinner receptions were hosted by H.E. Fatumanava III Dr. Paolelei Luteru on Thursday 6^th June and Wednesday 3^rd July 2019 in Brussels. The receptions were well attended by Ambassadors from the African, Caribbean, and Pacific (ACP) Group of states, as well as Ambassadors from Australia and New Zealand and Senior officials from the European Commission.

This occasion also provided the opportunity to acknowledge the support of the ACP and the EU for Samoa’s bid to host the signing of the Post-Cotonou Agreement in Apia in 2020.
