Visiting Samoa

Visa

All non-Samoan passport holders (except American Samoa passport holders) may enter and stay in Samoa on a visitors visa up to 60 days. This visitor’s visa is issued on arrival at the airport. The following are necessary to facilitate travel :

  • Passport must be valid for 6 months after intended departure from Samoa;
  • Return or onward travel ticket from Samoa;
    • Valid visa or permit for entry into the country to which you will travel from Samoa; and
    • Provide information on accommodation arrangements in Samoa
For genuine reasons, visitors may apply to the Immigration Office in Apia to extend their permit while in Samoa.
