In conformity with the provisions of Article 3 of the above convention, the Ambassador of Samoa to Belgium and the EU formally deposited with the Secretary-General of the World Customs Organisation the instrument of accession thereby acceding to the said convention and undertakes to perform and carry out the stipulations contained therein, on 27 October 2016.

The Secretary-General thanked Ambassador Luteru for Samoa’s support and confidence in the work and mandate of the organisation and pledged to do all he can to assist Samoa where needed.
