Samoa Private Sector in Brussels

H.E. Fatumanava III Dr Paolelei Luteru with Ms Felolini Tafunai (WIBDI), Ms Fiona Lene (MFAT Principal Officer – Trade) and Mr Callum Jones (Fuatino’s Coconout Oil)

Earlier this week, H.E. Fatumanava III Dr Pa’olelei Luteru met with a private sector exploratory trade mission from Samoa comprising of Ms Felolini Tafunai from Women in Business Development Incorporated, Mr Callum Jones from Fuatino’s Coconut Oil and Ms Fiona Lene, Principal Trade Officer from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, on their experiences following the end of their trade mission to the region.

The trade mission attended trade expos in the United Kingdom and Germany as well as an EU standards training workshop in Brussels. The trade mission is part of Samoa’s accession efforts to the interim Economic Partnership Agreement and was supported by the TradeComII Facility, an ACP Group Programme financed by the European Development Fund.
